Kayleigh is a certified Montessori Casa teacher, receiving her Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (M.A.C.T.E.) through her studies at The Canadian Montessori Teacher Education Institute. She has extensive and varied experience in childcare for both toddlers and preschoolers. Before becoming a founding partner in Educara, Kayleigh worked as a lead Montessori teacher for four years, and has also enjoyed being a co-teacher and nanny for several years prior to becoming certified. She is an enthusiastic teacher who fully embraces the Montessori philosophy and way of being with the children. Kayleigh loves learning about child development and believes it is important to provide a nurturing, kind, and inclusive environment for all. She truly loves working with and learning from the children! Kayleigh enjoys travelling, yoga, and nature, which she incorporates into her program whenever possible, enriching her students’ Montessori experience. Kayleigh is from the Ottawa area, but has spent many years of her life traveling internationally, bringing a unique perspective to the classroom. She currently lives in Nepean with her husband, daughter, dog and cat.
Ms Yan graduated from Algonquin College in 2015 with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with children in preschool room for 6 years now. She has passion to support children's growth through a variety of age appropriate activities. In her spare time, She loves spending time with her 9 years old boy, 5 years old girl, and her partner Bo.
Elisa is a Registered Early Childhood Educator who has eight years experience working in a Montessori based environment at the toddler age level. She also has a Montessori Teaching Diploma from the North American Montessori Center. Elisa is a warm, caring and nurturing educator who enjoys preparing the environment to meet the needs of the children. She has a passion for providing opportunities that will support all areas of learning. When she isn’t in class, she enjoys reading, the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Rebecca has always had a passion to nurture and support children mentally, emotionally and socially. She graduated from St. Lawrence College in 2016 with her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and has been working as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with the toddler age group since. Rebecca excels at creating a positive, warm and secure environment for children to thrive in all areas of development. She sees the parent-to-educator communication of great importance to a child’s well-being. In her free time she enjoys yoga, the outdoors and reading.
Lauren is currently taking ECE at Algonquin college , and is expected to graduate in January 2022. Lauren started out as a supply here, and is now working in the toddler room full time. In her free time, she is at home spending time with her family, or hanging out with her friends. Lauren will connect with the children, and continue to help them build on their social, emotional, cognitive and language skills. She is looking forward to seeing them develop new skills everyday! Lauren is excited as well to teach them new things and help them to gain new experiences everyday.
