Tuition

At Educara Montessori Childcare in Barrhaven, we strive to give you the very best value. We aren't the cheapest and we aren't the most expensive. In terms of the dollars,  you'll find us to be about average for the Ottawa area, but we strongly believe your hard earned dollars will give both you and your child much more at Educara. 

We are excited to inform you that we will soon be transitioning to Brightwheel as our new billing provider to enhance and simplify our payment process. This system will give you the choice of credit card or direct payment and allow us to provide better records both monthly and annually through detailed receipts and year-end invoices, making record-keeping easier for both parents and administration.

We are working with our current payment provider and expect to have Brightwheel fully implemented by November 30th, 2024 in time for the December 1st scheduled payment.

Payment Terms: pre-authorized Visa/MC or direct deposit payment * as of Dec 1, 2024. Please note that credit card and direct debit payments will be supported. Please note that processing fees for payments will apply. For bank transfers, the fee is 0.6% of the transaction amount, capped at a maximum of $2.75 CAD. For credit card payments, the processing fee is 2.45% of the transaction amount. These fees will appear on your monthly statement. As per CWELCC program guidelines, these fees are not covered by the funding and will appear on your monthly invoice. Students are provided with two healthy snacks daily as well as a nutritious lunch prepared by the chef at V!va. Lunch and snacks, following recommendations from Canada's Food Guide will be provided.  Menu plans are posted in the classroom and our  website.  

Educara is a nut restricted, allergy safe environment.

2024 Tuition Rates -CWELCC

The new rates while we are participating in the CWELCC Program 2024 will be: (exclusive of extended care fees or any additional charges):

Toddler 

5 days per week $697.00

Preschool

5 days per week $646.00

Extended Care

Extended care is offered in 30 minute increments. 

7:30 - 8:00am at the rate of $50/month

8:00 - 8:30 am at the rate of $50/month

8:30 - 9:00am at the rate of $50/month

4:00 - 5:00pm. at the rate of $50/month
