Tuition

At Educara Montessori Childcare in Barrhaven, we strive to give you the very best value. We aren't the cheapest and we aren't the most expensive. In terms of the dollars,  you'll find us to be about average for the Ottawa area, but we strongly believe your hard earned dollars will give both you and your child much more at Educara. 

Payment Terms: pre-authorized Visa/MC or direct deposit payment * as of Dec 1, 2024. Please note that credit card and direct debit payments will be supported. Please note that processing fees for payments will apply. For bank transfers, the fee is 0.6% of the transaction amount, capped at a maximum of $2.75 CAD. For credit card payments, the processing fee is 2.45% of the transaction amount. These fees will appear on your monthly statement. As per CWELCC program guidelines, these fees are not covered by the funding and will appear on your monthly invoice. 

Students receive two healthy snacks and a nutritious lunch daily, prepared by the chef at V!VA, in line with Canada’s Food Guide. Menus are posted in classrooms and on our website.

Educara is a nut-restricted, allergy-aware environment to ensure the safety of all children.

2025 Tuition Rates -CWELCC

The new rates while we are participating in the CWELCC Program 2025 will be: (exclusive of extended care fees or any additional charges):

Toddler 

5 days per week $478.50

Preschool

5 days per week $478.50

Extended Care

Extended Care is available from 7:30–9:00 a.m. and 4:00–5:00 p.m. at an additional cost of $75.00 per 30 minute block These fees are not included in CWELCC 2025 tuition rates.

Availability is limited and subject to Ministry guidelines and staffing ratios. Requests or changes must be submitted by the 14th of the month prior to the desired start date (e.g., by November 14 for a December 1 start). All requests are subject to approval and space availability.

7:30 - 8:00am at the rate of $75/month

8:00 - 8:30 am at the rate of $75/month

8:30 - 9:00am at the rate of $75/month

4:00 - 5:00pm. at the rate of $75/month
